The communication and exchange of documents between AR Medical Writing and our clients is conducted under strict confidentiality.

Integrity

AR Medical Writing adheres to the Joint Position Statement of the European Medical Writers Association (EMWA), the American Medical Writers Association (AMWA) and the International Society for Medical Publication Professionals (ISMPP) on the role and responsibilities of professional medical writers. We are committed to helping authors and sponsors to disclose their research in peer-reviewed journals and at scientific congresses in an ethical and accurate manner, in accordance to the Good Publication Practice (GPP3) guidelines and International Committee of Medical Journal Editors (ICMJE) recommendations.

AR Medical Writing also adheres to the Joint Position Statement of EMWA, AMWA and ISMPP on predatory publishing. This statement recognizes the threat posed by predatory journals on the quality, integrity and reliability of published scientific research. We concur with the statement that “conscious and deliberate submission of manuscripts to predatory journals is not ethical”. We acknowledge our responsibility as Medical Writer to evaluate the integrity, history, practices, and reputation of the journals to which manuscripts are submitted.

Fair Pricing

Each project is unique. Its cost will depend on several factors: type of work (proofreading, editing, writing), amount and complexity of work, your timeline.

Upon evaluation of your documents and discussion of your specific needs, we will generate a detailed and transparent quote.

We implement hourly pricing or project-based pricing, depending on the complexity of the project. Our rates are in line with those applied by European medical writers (source: 2017 EMWA Survey).

We offer reduced rates to non-profit organizations and academic institutions.
